Peace of Mind Sessions (January 9 and 30)
Peace of Mind Sessions (January 9 and 30)
01/08/2017
The Peace of Mind Space is an afterschool Mindfulness session open to all who wish to attend. We will conduct Mindfulness guided visualizations and techniques to help everyone relax and de-stress from their day. The use of sound (Tibetan bowls and mindfulness music), smell (essential oils), sight (battery operated candles), and touch (Yoga mats & comfortable throw pillows) sets the mood for the sessions. We will incorporate Mindfulness breathing and light stretching to get the blood flowing to relax the heart and bring oxygen to the brain and body. ***We recommend bringing a bottle of water and wearing comfortable clothes! ***If you can’t make it to the sessions, please consider signing up for the Peace of Mind Space REMIND messages. We will send out a weekly Mindfulness message and reminders of upcoming session dates: Peace of Mind Space REMIND (STUDENTS): 81010 @peaceofmi
